I am a Freelance Software Engineer. I design and code beautifully simple things, and I love what I do. I worked for startups in tech-ed, food tech, and the non-profit sector. I'm equipped with just the right tools and I am passionate about learning from others.

ABOUT ME

👋 Hello! My name is Heriberto Roman I am a Freelance Software Engineer with a passion for creating on the web. I come from a family of builders and problem solvers. I started to teach myself how to code back in 2014 and spent a few years as a technical instructor teaching disconnected young adults in the South Bronx how to code.

I have several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer. I love front-end and back-end technologies and work with several programming tools to deliver quality results to clients.

When I am not behind a computer coding I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. I also play ice hockey twice a week 🥅 🏒 🙌 to keep me fit.

A Hot and Cold guessing game built with React and Redux, the computer randomly selects a number between 1 and 100, and the player then tries to guess the number.


The player gets feedback for each guess – "hot" if their guess was close, and "cold" if their guess was far. When the user guesses the secret number, the app lets them know, and they'll have the option to start a new game.
